“Always play with the soul”
Robert Schumann
About Vincenzo Gambuzza
Vincenzo Gambuzza's pianism is driven by a precise artistic need: the search for sound itself. His touch — controlled, never neutral, always expressive — is the medium through which music becomes direct communication. Every phrase carries something to say, something to transmit, reaching beyond technical precision.
He holds a Master's Degree in Piano Performance with Summa Cum Laude and Honorable Mention, achieved under the guidance of Maestro Gaetano Indaco, and a Master's Degree in Chamber Music, also awarded with the highest distinction. His formation was further enriched by a Master in Artium Liberalium at Middlebury College (Vermont, USA), where an encounter with music, literature, theater, and cinema deepened his interpretative vision.
His artistry has been recognized through numerous First Prizes in national and international competitions. In 2017, he was selected as a finalist and awarded a High Commendation at the Liszt Society International Piano Competition in London. He performs regularly in Italy, across Europe, and overseas, as both a soloist and chamber musician.
